  3. I love this site. That being said, I think you are giving this farm system way too much credit. After Syndegard, and maybe Smith,it is barren and filled with no one who will make a difference. Their scouting department needs an overhaul.

    • Thanks Jeremy. I’ve spent a lot of time with Mets this year and maybe my familiarity has shaded my opinion, but I like them a little better than you. Montero is a nice pitcher and should be a contributor in 2014. The guy can really pitch. d’Anraud is going to be a very good catcher as well. With Smith and Syndergaard, that’s four top 100 prospects for me and that pretty darn good.
