Love your columns and really appreciate all the hard work you put into your content, I use your list, MLB pipeline and BA when preparing for my dynasty draft. I’m a huge fan.
I was recently offered a trade in a dynasty keeper league. The trade is to give up Zach Britton to obtain Lucas Giolito.
We have 25-man rosters with 20-keepers each year. Head-to-Head pitching categories are: IP, W, L, CG, SHO, SV, HR, K, HLD, ERA, WHIP, QS.
I like Giolito, but is he worth Britton straight up? I’m not strong in SP or RP and hope to snag a premium SP prospect (Kopech, Groome, Pint, McKenzie, Keller, or Allard are the top 6 available in my league) in the first round and then snag Zach Burdi in one of the later rounds. I don’t think that closers have all that much value in this league, but I want to make sure I’m not making a terrible mistake.

I have a keeper draft of prospects coming up, some players gone already (1,2,3,4,6,7,11 & 12). who would you take with the most possible adbvantage of playing in 2017 and really contribute?

Given the (horrible) news that Reyes will likely need TJ surgery – does this change his ranking among the top 100 prospects? You figure he won’t pitch again until sometime in 2018 and likely won’t contribute fantasy-wise until 2019. Plus the added inherent risk going forward after this surgery.
I only have 3 spots on my farm team roster and now I’m debating on whether or not I should keep him.
Rich would Phil Bickford be on this list if he wasn’t suspended for 50 games. Is he worth keeping in a dynasty league?
Rich, Appreciate your hard work. Don’t see last year’s darling Harrison Bader? I am hearing 4th outfielder from some but really hard worker from others. You thoughts?

I see them as Top 200 prospects. I still find Lopez intriguing despite his bad year. Good arm.
I’d swap Acuna, Maitan, R. Lopez and C. Kelly for Gettys, Dozier, Greene and Andujar and then call this a pretty perfect list
Thanks…I thanks. I love Acuna and he just got caught up in a numbers game. Maitan…well, he just turned 17 and hasn’t played in North America or even the DSL, so it’s hard. I just didn’t get enough feedback from people who had seen him to justify a mention. I know there are one or two writers who have and they clearly like him. I have heard the hype. Lopez…I debated him or Hader as both are relievers in my opinion. Kelly…maybe…hard to make my list as a catcher since so many leagues play one catcher. Gettys…love him…sorry. Dozier…yeah, you have a point there. Greene…saw him and he’s better than you think. Andujar…same as Greene. Got to go with my convictions and not what other sites are doing. Anyway, thanks for the feedback.

Is Acuna close?
All I read and saw in stats was Brinson going nuts in Mil. Then I saw his BB% decline at every promotion. I’ve always comp’d him to myself as Melvin Upton hoping he proved me wrong and came up with a 8+% BB%.
Do you see a double digit BB% as it seemed he was heading at HiA?
I don’t. The early Melvin Upton isn’t bad. I think he’ll make better contact though. You can also argue Carlos Gomez. Scary skills but the hit tool will always be a concern. However, and have this on very good authority that he works his ass off and is very “techable”…slightly different than coachable. That’s a really good thing.
Rich, thanks for all of your hard work. Since you admit that you throw stuff on the site without an editor, I believe #83 Ramon “Lauerano” is spelled Laureano. (I apologize for the annoying distinction.)

When will the next set of 25 be published? Is there a schedule of when each segment is to be published?
Friday, then next Tuesday, the 31st and finishing up on Thursday…ground hog day.
I don’t know how this will all turn out in 3-8 years from now, but there’s some wicked (potential) talent on your 91-100 here. Overall, I think it reflects the increase in IFA markets. Bodes well for MLB, if at the cost of other pro leagues around the world.
I’m curious where would you immediately rank Jae-Gyun Hwang? Cheers.
