Summary: The Mets’ fans want to see Dan Vogelbach burned at the stake.  I get it, it’s been horrible, but he’s still hitting the ball hard but has reduced his loft.  Also, he’s last in the league in not swinging at balls in the zone.  He needs to STOP being so passive or this will not end well.  My guess is the Mets know this and much more and believe with some tweaks, they can make him productive.  Will it work?  Maybe…but time is ticking.
