2014 Emerging Prospect
Avery Romero (2B)
After a nice RK season, Austin Brice’s last two seasons at A ball have been meh. He’s getting some Ks, but control seems to be a problem. Is middle relief his best outcome?
Honestly, I’ve never seen him, so it’s hard for me to comment. Based on his stats, it looks like he really has trouble throwing strikes and repeating Low-A with a 5.73 ERA is obviously not a good sign.
