  1. That is a very deep list of talent. And doesn’t even include newly-signed Cuban LHP Cionel Perez. Or Devenski. Or JD Davis. Did guys like Bregman, Gurriel, Reed, Musgrove, and Hoyt all graduate from rookie/prospect status? Would a guy like Nick Tanielu rank top-6 in the Giants, but might not crack top-30 in the Astros’ system? Oh my, so much talent. Dang.

As a Giants fan, *sigh*, I wish somehow we could trade for just ONE of their excellent outfield prospects. Maybe a LHRP? Samardzija? Some very young fireball reliever(s)? An MLB bench-ready, utility, speedster like Tomlinson? What are the Astros going to do with all of ’em? I know, not all will develop to their ceilings. But still…

Springer, Reddick, Aoki, Teoscar Hernandez, Marisnick.
(Beltran or Tony Kemp, if needed)…

Kyle Tucker, Fisher, Laureano, Drew Ferguson, Jon Kemmer, Jason Martin, Derek Fisher, Daz Cameron, Preston Tucker, Andrew Aplin… All this is AFTER swapping Wates with Marisnick AND trading away Brett Phillips and Domingo Santana. Dang.

  2. How close (if at all) was JD Davis to cracking your Houston top 10? I know their system is loaded…
